Lindsay is a Partner at Shockley Dodson Deeb and 2005 honors graduate of Emory University School of Law. Prior to joining Collard Shockley, Lindsay began her law practice at one of the preeminent litigation boutiques in Atlanta, where she chose to focus her practice exclusively to the area of family law and has done so for the past fourteen years. Her expertise lies in a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, legitimations and post-judgment matters. Lindsay’s client portfolio spans a wide range, from high asset and complex family law litigation to uncontested and collaborative family law matters.
Lindsay appreciates the sensitivity innate to all family law issues and recognizes that all of her clients trust her with an important and difficult part of their life. To Lindsay, no client is just a “case”. Listening to clients and understanding their specific needs and concerns allows Lindsay to develop a clear strategy to guide her client forward. From the onset of a client’s case, Lindsay works with the client to develop a roadmap to ensure the client’s matter is handled thoughtfully and efficiently.
A firm belief in mediation, coupled with strong negotiation skills, lead most of Lindsay’s cases to be settled amicably outside of court. However, having begun her law practice as a litigator and been awarded the International Trial Academy’s Award for Distinguished Achievement in the Art and Science of Advocacy, Lindsay is equally as strategic, thoughtful and gifted in the courtroom.
Lindsay has been named a Georgia Super Lawyers’ “Rising Star” by her peers in the area of family law for eight consecutive years.Read More

I couldn’t have been more happy when I made the switch to Lindsay; it was evident immediately. In fact, within the week she scheduled mediation.
Lindsay has a steady demeanor and doesn’t ruffle easily. She’s fast thinking and acting, and I always felt she had my best interest at heart, including ways to save money. I appreciated that she would talk me through each step, we’d weigh the options together, and she always sought my approval/review before sending pertinent emails and proceedings documents. I felt respected in that she approached things as a joint team effort. I never felt in the dark. She’s very detail oriented and picks up on nuance. I also found Lindsay to be highly professional with the opposing counsel – she didn’t take the bait, and was firm when appropriate.
Lindsay effectively counseled me to see the forest from the trees which is hard to do during a divorce. I believe her professionalism saved me time and money, and I’m eternally grateful that it was she who was by my side.
